Presentation Description:
The Pediatric Special Interest Section, with the support of the newly established Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ad-hoc committee, hosted a Pediatric Panel on Racial Equity & Inclusion. The goal of this panel was to understand racial disparities impacting pediatric settings of occupational therapy. Panelists represent racially, culturally, and ethnically diverse backgrounds discussed issues surrounding racial equity & inclusion across a variety of pediatric settings including but not limited to: outpatient/inpatient pediatrics, home health, early intervention, and school-based pediatrics.
