Tyler Michael, OTD, MS, OTR/L
Tyler, our Founder and Clinical Director, oversees all of our clinicians at Capable Therapy. She has a BA in Psychology, Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy & 10+ years of experience working as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including: a children's hospital, outpatient clinic, school based (elementary - high schools), teletherapy, and home health.
Tyler was named "Occupational Therapist of the Year" by the Arizona OT Association in 2023. Tyler has an Autism Specialist Certification and her areas of specialty include: Sensory Processing, SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding Program, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Pediatric Myofascial Release, Fine Motor Skills, and Visual Perception. She also has experience in the assessment & use of: SPIO vests, AmTryke Bikes, Hoyer Lifts, and Adapted Bath & Feeding Chairs.
Tyler served as ArizOTA's (Arizona OT Association) Pediatric Special Interest Chairman for 6 years and currently serves on the Occupational Therapy Program Advisory Boards for A.T. Still University & PIMA Medical Institute. She has worked as an Adjunct Instructor at PIMA Medical Institute's OTA program and A.T. Still University's OT program teaching Pediatric Practice, Human Growth & Development, & Communication courses. In 2018, Tyler was named "Best in Practice" in the state of Arizona by the American Health Council.

Sean Michael
Sean, our Co-Owner and Business Operations Director, oversees Capable Therapy's scheduling team, human resources, insurance processes, and other administrative needs.
During Sean's corporate and non profit career, he discovered a passion for developing people, programs, and strategic processes that help connect people to their purpose. He also has a passion and experience in growing organizations that make an impact in their local communities.
Over the last decade, he has developed his areas of expertise in: organizational leadership, business operations, human resources, sales management, and non-profit leadership with an emphasis in public speaking, community engagement, fundraising, and people/program development.

Kenderia Bice, MS, CCC-SLP, CAS
Kenderia ("Kay"), our Speech Team Lead, serves as a lead resource to the Speech team and has been with Capable Therapy since 2018. She has enjoyed leading and supervising speech therapy assistants for years, as well as, instructing speech therapy graduate students.
She is an ASHA member, DIR Floortime certified, IBCCES Autism Specialist, and Autism certified Speech Language pathologist who has practiced since 2013 and provided pediatric speech therapy services, educated families/caregivers regarding diagnosis, and engaged in the therapeutic process for a variety of pediatric speech-language disorders. She has provided speech and language therapy in various settings including schools (pre-school, elementary, junior high and high school), clinics, and homes.
Her areas of expertise include gestalt language processing, expressive & receptive communication, social communication, articulation, early language development, augmentative alternative communication devices and executive functioning. She has obtained additional training in: phonological awareness, treatment of childhood apraxia of speech, "Routine Scripts and Rule Books for Young Children: Evidenced-Based PBS Strategies," communicative functions of behavior, sensory for the SLP, and Building CCSS-Aligned Vocabulary Skills.

Kelly Moritz, OTD, OTR/L
Kelly is a pediatric OT with a Doctorate from Northern Arizona University (2020) and over five years of experience in mental health and family-centered care. Her work is grounded in the DIR/Floortime framework and trauma-informed, sensory-based approaches that promote connection, regulation, and emotional safety for children and caregivers.
As a Clinical Mentor with Capable Therapy, Kelly provides one-on-one clinical support to our therapy team —reviewing Floortime Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities (FEDCs), exploring intervention strategies, and deepening understanding of sensory, emotional, and relational foundations of regulation. She helps therapists integrate reflective practice, play-based approaches, and trauma-sensitive care to strengthen therapeutic attunement and confidence.
Kelly is Proficiently Certified in DIR/Floortime and holds certifications in the Evaluation of Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI), Sensory Attachment Intervention, Certified Trauma Specialist, as well as STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Level 1 training. She is passionate about helping therapists and families create sensory-informed routines that support co-regulation, connection, and growth through the power of play.
